The Oakland Planning Commission approved a permit in June 2022 for Verizon Wireless to place six cell antennas on a Rockridge apartment building at 5319 Broadway Terrace. Owners of an adjacent penthouse condominium filed an appeal, arguing the commission misapplied the Telecommunications Ordinance and that the antennas will block panoramic bay views.
