In 2005 RCPC had lost a battle against the installation of Maison Nouveau real estate office at this College Avenue ground-floor space, which was granted a conditional use permit with conditions including a public art gallery and home design library. Maison Nouveau moved out and McGuire Real Estate replaced it but appeared to be violating the use permit conditions. RCPC notified the City and met with the building owner.
