An application to locate a Kumon Math and Reading Learning Center at 6019 College Avenue (former Synergy location, 1,400 sq ft) was heard by the Land Use Committee in September. The LUC voted against it and the RCPC board accepted the recommendation, voting to oppose. RCPC's concern: removing a street-level retail storefront on College Avenue sets a bad precedent.
