Follow-up on the proposed Khana Peena restaurant: RCPC dropped its opposition and city planning department approval was in process. Proposed Indian restaurant at 5316 College Avenue (former liquor store) by the owner of a Solano Avenue restaurant, featuring significant architectural changes including a skylight dome, outdoor patio for 75-100 diners, and decorative iron works. RCPC Land Use Committee initially opposed due to the concentration of restaurants and design concerns.
