Oakland Dept. of Transportation (OakDOT) announced it would begin repaving College Avenue within a few weeks. Work includes grinding the surface, new asphalt, new bike lanes, pedestrian bulb-outs, and countdown lights. Rockridge District Association and Councilmember Kalb asked for delay until spring but OakDOT said the contract was already signed.
