Rockridge Area residents Jack and Susan Ripsteen proposed a retail/office building at the College and Alcatraz corner with retail at street level, setback second-floor office space, rear parking, and a Campanile-like clock tower. First formal hearing scheduled at Berkeley Board of Adjustments January 12, 1987.
