Developer Tony Wilson entered an agreement to purchase the Chabot Canyon Racquet Club (6 courts, ~1 acre) with potential to build 4–6 single-family houses on the club-owned property (zoned single-family, 5,000 sq ft minimum lot). Club members organized to explore buying the club themselves as a member-owned non-profit to prevent development.
